Bio

Chris Laursen leads the overall Quanta Generation effort.  His thirty-nine years experience in the Engineering and Construction business shows a proven track record in Project Execution, Contract Negotiations, Division Management, Business Development, and Project Management both in the U.S. and abroad. Previously, he worked as Principal at Byers Peak Power Consultant and Vice President of the Renewable Business Line at The Shaw Group where he started a new business line to capture the emerging domestic market for geothermal, biomass and concentrated solar projects.  He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from City College of New York.
